Our impact:

Brenda’s fascination with real estate began when she was 11, after watching her dad purchase and transform old, abandoned homes. That fascination carried through her business bachelor’s degree to a role in real estate finance. A role she loved and thrived in, then the setback of job loss occurred. Brenda shares “One year later, I and several others would lose our jobs due to record high mortgage rates which caused record low home sales. I immediately recognized this setback as an opportunity to again attempt to enter property management.”

“Just two months later, it would be three years total when I would finally set foot in the industry of my daydreams.” After two years in the industry, she has “come a long way in a short time”. “I started off as an administrator who knew only the 3-4 individuals in our industry. I quickly immersed myself in BOMA, IREM and IFMA association events, from educational opportunities, networking to community volunteering events. It was the best thing I could have done for my career, as it allowed me to seek mentorship from seasoned professionals who are eager to help the next generation of managers.
