Tasha Rush, ARM® has received two scholarships throughout her IREM journey, a Donald M. Furbush, CPM® Scholarship and one of the very first Robert K. and Gladys M. Beal Legacy Scholarships, awarded to IREM members who volunteer in their local chapter.

Mayra Ramirez, CPM® wanted to expand her knowledge of the industry and explore new career opportunities, but her employer would only fund one course per year. An IREM Foundation Scholarship was the solution. Now Mayra is promoting IREM education to students at local universities.

IREM announces 10 Student Leaders in the 2022 cohort, funded by the IREM Foundation. These students have demonstrated academic achievement and are interested in pursuing a career in real estate management. Participants will receive mentorship, education, and and a grant to attend the IREM Global Summit. Learn more.

What is IREM doing?

IREM’s education is best in class, and our certifications are the most respected in the industry. Together we can help more communities benefit from IREM certified real estate managers.

Expanding access to real estate management careers

The IREM Foundation is Founding partner of CORE (Career Opportunities in Real Estate). CORE provides remote life and skill-based coaching that prepares participants for entry level jobs in the real estate industry. Participants who complete the program are prepared for entry level jobs in real estate, particularly leasing, marketing and property administrator roles.

Advancing IREM curriculum in higher education

Through a grant provided by the IREM Foundation, students enrolled in the University of Wisconsin Stout’s Property Management degree program take the CPM® and ARM® exam prior to graduation.

Improving access to scholarship funding

The Foundation currently offers a seven unique scholarships that help real estate managers gain IREM knowledge, serve their communities, and advance in their careers. Seven scholarships, one application - we’ve taken the stress out of applying. Learn more.

What are the criteria
How to apply

  • • Non-profit organizations, municipalities, educational institutions, companies, or individuals may apply for grant funding.

    • Requests for funding must demonstrate a charitable nature as defined by the IRS and may be awarded for programs/initiatives that include research, next gen engagement, maintenance and tech development, professional development, recruitment from underrepresented populations or other avenues for addressing these objectives.

  • • The Foundation will consider requests for both new and existing programs when and existing program may benefit significantly from additional funding.

    • Grant recipients must submit a report within one year of receiving funding that outlines the outcomes of the grant.

  • Submit a request online.
