Board of Directors

The IREM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity and was established in 1977. It is supported through donations from IREM members and is led by the Foundation Board of Directors who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the organization’s success.

Applications are accepted annually, typically in the spring. If elected, terms begin on January 1st. Directors serve a three-year term and are eligible for up to two consecutive terms.

Associate Board

The IREM Foundation approved the creation of an Associate Board to allow new volunteer opportunities for people interested in helping advance the Foundation’s mission. Launching in 2023 as a dedicated group of volunteers reporting to the Foundation’s Executive Committee, the Associate Board will support Foundation initiatives with a focus on fundraising and stewardship efforts as they participate in the advancement of the strategic and development goals of the Foundation.
