Research and discovery equips real estate management professionals to embrace tomorrow’s opportunities. Through the J.T. Aveni Center for Research, and Elaina’s Sustainability Fund, the IREM Foundation funds impactful studies that lead to management that makes a difference.
Buildings are different. Communities are different. We know that by inviting people that think differently and come from different backgrounds to the table, our buildings and communities can be even better. The Foundation supports programs that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within IREM and within the profession.
Real estate is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Through Elaina’s Sustainability Fund, we’re supporting those with a vision to improve the environmental footprint of commercial real estate. Over the next 10 years, the IREM Foundation aims to increase participation in sustainability education and the adoption of green initiatives in commercial real estate.
